The Branch of the “First Republic Bank” (FRB) held the press conference in Rostov-on-Don to sum up the first results of its work.

Among participants of the conference there were Stanislav Gavrilovich Medvedev, Head of the representative office of the Deposit Insurance Agency in the Southern Federal District, as well as journalists of the local mass media.

The Rostov-on-Don Branch of the Bank opened in July, 2008 has had enough time for the present to prove itself as the serious participant in the bank services market. Within the year, the Branch successfully positioned itself as the reliable retail bank and the long-term partner for corporate business.

“Thanks to correctly chosen course and realization of the long-term strategy of development, the Bank has considerably strengthened its positions in the financial market for the present. The developing competitive products line, improving bank technologies, highly skilled staff and expansion of the regional network determined the stable growth of the Bank’s client base as a whole, as well as provoked worthful competition in the bank market, ” said Andrey Churakov, FRB First Vice-President.

“The previous year was not an easy one, and today we understand fairly well that the high level of business reputation and stable position of the Bank under present conditions have allowed us to deserve the most precious thing–our Clients’ confidence, both in the Capital, and in the regions. Evaluating the results of our work on the example of the Rostov-on-Don Branch, it is possible to say that we have achieved decisive success and are proceeding to meet our goals. It is not only the product line variety oriented to the wide clientele, but also flexible approach to our work, as well as maximum adaptation of the services provided to meet the present-day needs of both our Clients and of the economic conditions in the market which helps us to build the long-term mutual relations with Clients,” said Alexey Rybakov, Vice-President of the Bank.

According to the Director of the Rostov-on-Don Branch Alexey Savenkov, further plans of the Branch include gradual build-up of the client base. “We intend to search for new ways of mutually advantageous work with potential Clients. In particular, I am sure, many clients will be interested in marketing Actions from time to time held by the Bank. The advantages of such offers are obvious. We also intend to pay special attention, as before, to the quality of our services and to the development of customer services,” Alexey Savenkov declared.

S.G. Medvedev congratulated the Rostov-on-Don Branch of "FRB" JSC on the successful commencement of work in the region, wished much success in its further development, and paid special tribute to the quality and efficiency of measures undertaken by the Bank top managers as regards the anti-crisis management.

When the official part of the conference was over, the buffet table was served for the guests and the journalists had an opportunity to communicate with the Bank management informally.
